What happens in the first session?+
The first session is a chance for you and Rosemary to meet, for her to understand what brings you in, and for you to ask any questions. There is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with. It is your space, at your pace.
Is everything I share kept confidential?+
Yes, absolutely. Everything discussed in your session stays between you and Rosemary. The only exceptions are situations where there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else — Rosemary will explain this clearly in your first session.
How do I pay?+
Payment is made via M-Pesa through our secure Pesapal payment gateway when you book online. For walk-in sessions, the full fee is due at booking. For virtual sessions, a 50% deposit is required to confirm your slot, with the remaining balance due after the session.
Can I reschedule or cancel my session?+
Yes. Please contact Rosemary at least 24 hours before your scheduled session to reschedule. Email queencounsellor@gmail.com or call +254 722 418 696. We understand that life happens.
How do virtual sessions work?+
When you book a virtual session, a Google Meet link is automatically created and sent to you via WhatsApp and email. At session time, simply tap the link on your phone or computer. You will need a private space and a stable internet connection.
How many sessions will I need?+
That depends entirely on you and your situation. Some people find clarity in a few sessions; others benefit from ongoing support over months. Rosemary will work with you to understand what feels right, without any pressure to commit to a set number.
I am not sure if counselling is right for me — what should I do?+
Reaching out is often the hardest step. If you are unsure, you are welcome to call or email Rosemary first for a brief informal chat before booking a full session. There is no obligation.
Do both partners need to be present for couples sessions?+
Ideally, yes — couples sessions are most effective when both partners participate. For virtual sessions, both can join from the same location or separately. If one partner is not ready, Rosemary can also see individuals first.
